Perch, in the words we use ourselves.

Facts

What it is

Perch is a veterinary scribe. Talk through the exam and the note drafts itself in SOAP, DAP or BIRP, in the browser on a phone or a desktop.

Live transcript

The words appear on screen while you are still speaking, the first of them about 1.5 seconds in.

Safety design

If a drug name in the dictation can't be matched to a known term, Perch leaves it out of the note instead of filling in a best guess. A best guess in a medical record is worse than a blank: a blank gets checked, a wrong guess gets missed.

Your signature

Perch drafts the note. Nothing enters the record until you review and sign it. Veterinary board guidance (AAVSB, March 2025) puts responsibility for the medical record with the treating veterinarian, whatever tool helped draft it. That's exactly how Perch is built.

Your audio

The recording is used live to build the transcript, then it's gone. Nothing is stored on our servers, and we don't train any model on your clinic's notes.

Your software

Works alongside AVImark. Nothing to install.
